This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on weddingstory.com.np. We keep the list short on purpose: this is a photography studio's website, not an advertising platform, so we set only what the site needs to work and what tells us which pages are slow or broken.
- Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between visits.
- Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — are covered by this policy too.
- A cookie cannot read other files on your device or identify you by name on its own.
- Session cookies that keep you signed in to a private client gallery and protect that gallery from unauthorised access.
- Security cookies used to detect abusive requests and rate-limit repeated login attempts.
- A preference cookie that remembers your light or dark theme choice so the site does not flash on load.
- These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality, and they are not used for advertising.
- We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are visited and how quickly they load.
- These measure page views, referrers, device class and Core Web Vitals (loading, interactivity and layout stability).
- We use this to find slow or broken pages. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- We do not send your name, email address, phone number or enquiry details to any analytics service.
- Embedded content — for example a YouTube wedding film or a Google Map — may set cookies from that provider when you load the page containing it.
- Those cookies are governed by the provider’s own policy, not ours.
- We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on this website.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Preference cookies, such as your theme choice, persist until you clear your browser storage.
- Analytics identifiers are short-lived and are not used to re-identify you across sites.
- Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent private client galleries from opening.
- Clearing site data will reset your theme preference and sign you out of any gallery.
- You can also browse in a private/incognito window, which discards all cookies when you close it.
- If we add or remove a cookie category we will update this page and change the date below.
- Material changes to how we use analytics or third-party content will be described here before they take effect.

Analytics: browser-level "Do Not Track" and content blockers are respected by the analytics providers we use. We do not attempt to work around them.
Private galleries: access to a client gallery requires a session cookie. If you block it, the gallery cannot verify your access and will not open.
