Weddings, the whole of them.
Most of our work is Hindu and Newar weddings spread over two or three days: the rituals at home, the ceremony, the reception, and the pre-wedding shoot couples add once they see how little time the day leaves for portraits. We also photograph court registrations, destination weddings and receptions on their own.
We do not pose people through the ritual. If the priest is talking, the priest is talking. The portraits happen in the time we ask for before the reception, and that is the only part of the day we run.

Do you photograph weddings outside Nepal?
Yes. Since 2023 we have photographed weddings in India, Bali, Dubai and Sri Lanka with the same two-photographer approach we use at home.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to three months ahead for Mangsir, Magh, Falgun and Baisakh, when the most auspicious dates go first. Multi-day and destination weddings are worth booking earlier.
Do we get a film as well as photographs?
If you want one. The same team shoots stills and film, from a short highlight to the full ceremony, so the two follow one plan instead of competing for the same spot.
